Game Day

The boys are exhausted after attending several college football games yesterday.

This is Chris updating everyone on Piggie, Nibbles, and Mr. T. They left early yesterday morning before I got up, and they dragged back into the bedroom well after midnight and collapsed onto the bed still singing “Texas, fight, Texas, fight, Hail Hail the Gangs all Here.”

I only got bits and pieces of their adventures before they fell asleep. They had “poofed” themselves to several venus around the country throughout the day.

But they finished the day at Longhorn stadium. Somehow, Piggie knows Bevo, the Texas Longhorns mascot, and they celebrated with him after the game. I gather from the stains on their shirts that much Kool-aid was involved.

I already knew they were at that game. I saw them on TV briefly when the camera panned across the Texas student section. Mr. T was wearing a Texas foam finger, but it was on his head since his hands are so small.

Nibbles was wearing a yellow foam cheese wedge on his head. They must have poofed to the first half of the Wisconsin game, which got out of hand quickly. Piggie wore a green Oregon Ducks shirt. That must have been their first game of the day.

The TV camera only stopped on them for a moment, but many rowdy fans were crowded around them waving at the camera. Several of fans were young, college girls. That explains the lipstick on Mr. T’s head. The boys are quite popular wherever they go.

They fell asleep with Nibbles chanting “RED” and Mr. T. responding “WHITE” — over and over. Piggie stuffed his round hands into his ears. I gather they had gone to the Bama/Kentucky game to lead the Bama fans in a RED/WHITE cheer in response to Kentucky’s famous BLUE/WHITE cheer.

I’ll try to get more details from them when they wake up.
